'Blithe Spirit' opens 60th season of Emporia State Summer Theatre
In the summer of 2014, ESU Theatre celebrates its 60th consecutive season of summer theatre. That first season was put together by Karl Bruder and featured 8 productions--one each week for eight weeks. The 60th season follows the more recent tradition of producing 4 shows in eight weeks. Kicking off the new season is a revival of Blithe Spirit, first presented as a part of the first summer season in 1955.
